Our current focus is on the development of a highly innovative new virtual world and game aimed at Children (7-12 year-olds).

Subscriptions Manager

Salary: Negotiable.

Overview: Mind Candy is an entertainment company launching a new and exciting kids property online in Autumn this year called Moshi Monsters. A premium subscription service for the site is set to launch early next year.

Responsibilities / Objectives:

  • Help to design and implement a subscription system to manage customer account and payment information from inception through to launch.
  • Work closely with technical staff to identify, cost and build the required subscription software (payment provider integration and access control integration).
  • Work with financial staff to ensure conformity with chosen payment processing providers and in-house accounting software.
  • Work with operations staff to ensure all regulatory constraints are adhered to.
  • Help to design subscription product content and billing options for product.
  • Manage system and customer base to handle subscription problems e.g expired cards, denied transactions, attempted chargebacks.
  • Ensure that any customer cancellations/complaints about the subscription areas are dealt with in a timely fashion.
  • Work with customer base and subscription systems to aid renewal, cancellation, and re-activation of subscription product as necessary.
  • Work closely with marketing staff, design staff and customer base to help provide feedback, improve product and maintain subscription levels.
  • Manage reporting function and analytics for subscriptions, look at trends and help to iron out problems and inefficiencies.
  • Build a variety of subscription products including recurring charge, quarterly charge, annual charge and multiple/site licenses.
  • Build and manage a passionate team of sales staff committed to driving subscriptions.
  • Planning and analysis of subscription roll out and continual development of new subscription models and products.

Skills / Qualifications:

  • Experience of managing a growing subscription product.
  • Proven subscription sales record.
  • Talent for looking after and gaining feedback from customers.
  • Proven sales management experience.
  • Some familiarity with social and interactive media in youth and/or kids sector a distinct advantage.
  • Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills.
  • Exceptional organisational and reporting skills.
  • Excellent abilities in the generation of reports and analysis of subscription metrics.

Online Marketing Manager

Salary: Flexible + share options

Overview: Do you know your Flickr from your Flock, your Facebook from your Friendster, your Firefox from your Firebox? Do you live, sleep and breath the web? Are you excited by the myriad new marketing opportunities that the social web conjures up? If 30 second advertising spots leaves you cold, but creative online marketing using widgets, virtual worlds, viral video, facebook apps, RSS and blogs, gets your motor running, then we should talk.

Responsibilities / Objectives:

  • Dreaming up creative marketing ideas and executing on them rapidly
  • Drive traffic and registrations
  • Grow brand awareness of the property
  • Monitor site statistics and suggest improvements and new features
  • Monitoring marketing campaigns and report on their success to Senior Management
  • Managing and growing our network of affiliates
  • Partnering with third party brands to increase traffic and grow awareness

Skills / Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience of multiple social media sites
  • Previous marketing experience with kids brands would be a distinct advantage, but not vital
  • Strong interest in online gaming and virtual worlds
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Very clear communication skills
